damian5000
For the love of god. I'll lose countless hours of work if I can't get this exported. LibreCalc saved the .csv all screwed up with columns and rows all over the place. I can't recover to previous versions. How can I export the product data from my site? The only export I see exports only a few different columns. I need the whole shebang. Short descriptions, tags, titles... damian5000
Or... How to download previously uploaded csv? I can work from that. I'm assumed it's stored somewhere in .csv format on the server...?
RogueWaveLimited
I don't think the CSV file is on kept on the server unless you copied it there before you did the import. The full product export requires custom code. I can do the product data export for you. Contact me at the email below. damian5000
Okay, thanks for your offer. I discovered the previous .csv in ./admin/import . I can work off that. Should be back to where I was in an hour. Lesson learned. Save work as a different file name and in LibreCalc native format prior to saving as csv. Have no idea how it go so screwed up. Saved it like I always do.
damian5000
Finally found out what the problem was after trial and error and losing about 4 hours of my life. The issue, is that CSV imports and exports can't handle carriage returns/line breaks within a cell unless a text delimiter is used. Probably basic knowledge to anyone that works with importing and exporting CSV regularly. I just had never run into it before because up until this point I'd never used line breaks in my product database.
