Description problem

Hi Guys,

We are having problems with products not showing their descriptions when you click on them, they only show the short description. This is the same whatever theme we are using.

Can anybody help?

Go into your themes directory.
Open product.tpl.

Search for HOOK_PRODUCT_FOOTER

Below it are lines needed to show a product's long description.

{if $product->description}
<!-- full description -->

{$product->description}

{/if}

Check if those lines exist.

Thanks for your quick response, i have got it working now by editing the product.tpl file.

I removed the code to show the short description and also the code to show the long description with the javascript more details link and it seems to be ok now.
