tdako
Hi all,I just installed Prestashop yesterday and I really like the interface. I've been using Joomla/VirtueMart for a while to test, but prestashop looks a lot different and I wanted to give it a try. One thing that I had a problem with with VirtueMart is that the shipping price was not added to the PayPal total when a customer chooses PayPal as the payment option and goes to the paypal screen.I've setup a test shop using Presta and enjoyed configuring it. But while doing a test purchase I realised that here also, the price for shipping is not carried over to the PayPal screen. The price that shows up there is just the price of the product. Is this a bug in PayPal or am I missing something to configure? Thanks a lot in advance for any help and looking forward to it.CheersTeddy
tdako
Hi all,I think I've found the answer for this issue. Well, issue, it's a setting thing. In Paypal, there's an option in the Shipping Calculation field in your Profile Settings. The only problem is, the option to choose Shipping Calcultaion, doesn't show up in my Profile Summary page. Something technical, they say and it's been like that for ages.Anyways, if you manage to go to Shipping Calculation, at the bottom of the page, there is a checkbox next to "Click here to allow transaction-based shipping values to override the profile shipping settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled)."This should be checked and then the shipping value is taken over from your shopping cart.Hope this helps others using Paypal.CheersTeddy
