booblebab
I have asked this so many times, but nobody gets back to me!In the Back Office, I translated all of the sections (in Tools >> Translations) – and saved them.It worked with everything but “Module translations”. I translated the whole thing – and clicked update, and it just opened a blank page, and when I try to refresh nothing. All my change were lost. This was in Firefox. I tried a few times.I tried Safari, and changed just one field to test – and it’s the same thing: Safari can’t open the page. Safari can’t open the page “http://www.blabla.com/aministrator/index.php?tab=AdminTranslations&submitTranslationsModules=1&token=b5e56bc78e36b7feddc0190470363694” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again. What is the problem? How do I solve this? I tried changing the permissions of the folders to what they’re meant to be just in case something was missing – but with no luck.I have also tried uninstalling modules I've modified, and then trying - nothing seems to work. No error messages are displayed, nothing. Any ideas? Suggestions?
geiri
It looks as you lost your Internet connection or the server lost his. If you cant write to the Translations file folder You just get an error "cant write to module folder"

geiri
You could translate the files by hand and upload them to the site or setup a local server and translate there
Suthichai
I had this problem as well with my previous host. This error can sometimes occur as a result of Suhosin / Hardened PHP being installed on your server. If you know that you have Suhosin running and you have access to the PHP configuration, try increasing the value of the following 2 lines in .htaccess and save it in admin folder: suhosin.request.max_vars = 2048suhosin.post.max_vars = 2048Cheer
booblebab
Thanks to both of you Suthichai - one question, how do I find out if DreamHost are running Suhosin/hPHP?
Suthichai
You may use phpinfo(). Save it in your root folder and run it. Then look for "suhosin".In case you don't know how, here is the code (I named it to check.php):<?php phpinfo() ?>

Guest
maybe you can modify the content in prestashop's database directly.
