[solved] 1-click Upgrade 1.5.4.1 > 1.5.6.0 error message

Hello,

 

Sorry if this has been posted, I did search but didn't have much luck. Using the 1-click upgrade module I tried to upgrade from 1.5.4.1 to 1.5.6.0. Has anyone else seen this?

 

I get this error message during the "back up portion of the update process" I receive this error

 

error when trying to add /var/sites/t/mysite.co.uk/public_html/download/index.php to archive download/index.php.

 

 

 I thought it could be something to do with permission, but changed that also with the same results.

Tried a few more times and seem to get different errors each time, this time i received this error:

 

error when trying to add /var/sites/t/mysite.co.uk/public_html/Mx25ou96nT/themes/default/template/controllers/cart_rules/informations.tpl 

 

Fresh install fixed this ( even though it was a brand new install ) I also see that the 'loading problem' in the layered navigation menu still exists in 1.5.6. which is a disappointment.

Hi there!

Is there a file size limit on your server? It might be that the backup zip file reaches that limit, especially if you're on a shared free hosting

Thanks for the reply. No there isn't a limit in place, this is a brand new fresh install of 1.5.4.1 which I am trying to upgrade the 1.5.6.0
