How to stop product name being shortened?

Hi there,

How do I stop prestashop shortening product names on a category page?

For example:

 

On the category page a product shows up as:

Calendula Body...

However I want the full name to show:

 

Calendula Body Lotion 200ml

everything depends on your theme and product name definition in product-list.tpl file

 

open this file (it's located in your theme directory)

 

you should have there something like:

{$product.name|truncate:35:'...'|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}

(or something very similar with different value of truncate)

 

just remove this part: |truncate:35:'...':

{$product.name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}
