How to move one/old side content to another/new one

Hello!

 

I am relatively new at prestashop and I reallly need your help.

 

I have a mattress shop here : www.vzmetnica.com

 

This site is in Slovenian language and is designed for Slovenija.

 

Now I would like to greate new site with exactly the same content (under new domain) for Austria - deutsch version.

 

The version of old prestashop site is 1.5.4.1 ... the new Austrian would be the new prestashop version 1.5.6.0

 

Is there a way (if i install new version of presta) to move the content from old site (categorys, products, pictures, prices, .... everything) ...to new site

 

That would really make my job easy ... since i would just have to translate the produts description.

 

Would really apreciate any help.

just for info ... the table prefixes are also not the same (in the database) ... but that could be changed easily ...

 

well ... I would be really glad if someone know how to do this ...

if I were you i will create mirror of your store: copy whole file system and copy database to new one, 

then upgrade it to 1.5.6

Thats whats exactly what I was thinkig all day today. I will just copy everything.

 

But than I have a problem with ugrade to 1.5.6. ... I modified current version  ... so I think it will take a longer time to upgrade ...
