Wholesale Customers

Can anyone tell me if this can be done and how to do it?

 

Running v 1.5.4 default theme.

 

I need to set up different quantities/prices to sell at wholesale.

I want to sell 10 of the same items for 10% off retail,

and 30 of the same item for 15% off

and 60 of the same item for 20% off

 

There are other conditions and discounts but this will serve to demonstrate my problem.

I tried to set up packs but get a message that combinations cannot be included in packs. All of my products are combinations.

I then tried to set up specific prices anticipating a long process. I created several specific prices and designated them to wholesale group. To test that it was going to work, I created an account and put that customer into the wholesale group. I then logged on the site and tried to put the product into the cart and was denied access to this product. Thinking now that I would have to input the customers "name" into each specific price, I went back into the back office and realized there is no way to edit the specific price. I would have to create this for each customer that wholesales my product. 

The biggest problem is that for each product I have 7 attributes and 25 different values in 3 different sizes. Is there any way to accomplish this?

thanks, I'll give it a go but I think it will display the wholesale prices to anyone on the site and I would like to restrict that info to wholesalers.
