multiple drop down boxes

im using multiple drop down boxes.  I have one for an "amount"" and one for "style" . the amount is attributes associated with a price and the style one is associated with an image.

 

the problem im having is whichever drop down is first is the one that changes either the price or the picture.

 

example:

 

Amount:

Style:

 

this would change the price on the page but not the picture

 

Style:

Amount:

 

this would change the picture on the page but then the price always remians $0.00

 

is there a way to fix this? i need them to be able to change the price with the one drop down and then change the picture with the other...

 

im not interewsted in the prestochango add-on either...so please dont post that link...
