Should I upgrade to 1.5.5?

I read in the ads about 1.5.5 being faster than 1.5.4. Since 1.5.6 is out but too fresh for us to be used on the live system I dare updating 1.5.4 to 1.5.5 in the hope to benefit in some way from that update.

 

So, can you tell me if there are good arguments to update to 1.5.5, please?

 

PS:

Test system was flawlessly updated to 1.5.5 and a 1.5.6 did work too (I had to deinstall the autpupgrade module and install the afterwards the newest one).

 

Since I do admin our shop alone and happily alter tpls I wonder if there is a list of important changes to the tpl files.
