tosd
I am still struggling to achieve my first upgrade from 1.1.0.5 to 1.2.3. No luck so far - it just seems to get stuck on Step 3 every time. A couple of things I have noticed though:1. The install screen header says Prestashop 1.2.2 Updater - is there any chance the wrong install package has shipped with 1.2.3?2. Even though I have set the write permissions (twice) for the /img folder to 777 recursively, Step 3 still reports that they are not correct.I would be very grateful for any help at all. It is starting to concern me that an upgrade of system files should represent such a challenge.
yebberdog
I have exactly the same problem. I am in the process of upgrading to the latest version and despite changing the file permissions to 777 using ftp client, step 3 still shows images, modules and translations as incorrect with a negative sign. I have actually checked every file to ensure that they are set to 777.I am really getting frustrated with Prestashop, the last installation worked fine for a while and then died with parse errors, so that when I went into the backend and selected the module tab, every module had a parse error message.I think I am just going to go back to gold old zen cart, it may be old hat but is has been running three of my sites for over 2 years with no problems.Of course it could be something by server provider has changed.Any help would be welcomed.
