Roby42
Hi, I upgrade Prestashop from 1.5.5 to 1.5.6 on my testserver. When I go to the front-end shop I get a completely blank screen. I can get into the admin. In my httpd logfile I get: "[Fri Oct 11 09:43:53 2013] [error] [client 84.24.0.94] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Currency::isMultiCurrencyActivated() in /var/www/html/upgradetestmcsportshop.nl/modules/blockcurrencies/blockcurrencies.php on line 56, referer: http://www.upgradetestmcsportshop.nl/miniatuur-kilometerpaaltjes/7197-marmotte-kilometerpaaltjes.html [Fri Oct 11 09:43:55 2013] [error] [client 84.24.0.94] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Currency::isMultiCurrencyActivated() in /var/www/html/upgradetestmcsportshop.nl/modules/blockcurrencies/blockcurrencies.php on line 56 [Fri Oct 11 09:44:29 2013] [error] [client 84.24.0.94] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Currency::isMultiCurrencyActivated() in /var/www/html/upgradetestmcsportshop.nl/modules/blockcurrencies/blockcurrencies.php on line 56" What I've tried:- Deleted smarty cache and compile files. - Disabled the blockcurrencies module, but no luck. Can somebody help me to figure this out ? Many thanks, Robert Edited October 11, 2013 by Roby42 (see edit history)
NemoPS
Hi, can you try, for the sake of completeness, to turn on errors as described in my signature? Also, try grabbing a fresh 1.5.6 and replace the whole modules folder of the upgraded version with the new one
Roby42
Hi, Many thanks for your reply. I replace the modules folder with a fresh copy. I turned on errors. I get a blank page with error: "Fatal error: Call to undefined method Currency::isMultiCurrencyActivated() in /var/www/html/upgradetestmcsportshop.nl/modules/blockcurrencies/blockcurrencies.php on line 56" Any ideas ? Cheers, Robert

Roby42
Hi, I replace the complete modules directory like you told me. That's what you mean ? Thanks, Robert
NemoPS
Yes, it didn't solve it? Try replacing the classes folder at this point (sorry, my bad, I didn't read your post well)
Roby42
Hi, Thanks. Coming closer now ;-) Replaced classes. Shop is running again, that's the good news. However, I am missing some modules, footer, top links, stuff like that... What would be the best way to recover these parts ? Thanks, Robert
NemoPS
It depends. It might be enough to reset them, check if they are currently installed
