[SOLVED] How to Customize a home button

Recommended Posts

Hello Prestashop

On my clients site www.tradealot.dk there is a "Home" button where there is a dropdown menu.

How can i turn this "Home" to "Forside" (its home in danish) and with no dropdown. And when you click on it you get to the main url www.tradealot.dk

I cant figure it out in the horizontel menu.

Good morning

when you click configure on the navigation module you will see the option to add a new URL.

So add "Home" with the url to your index page, then move "Home" from the left block to the right block, click Save.

Simply remove the old "Home" from right block to left block.

This assumes you are using ps default template

Hope this helps

Hello

When i do this i get to the page "www.tradealot.dk/tradealot.dk"

I cant leave the URL field empty.

The URL field should be "http://www.tradealot.dk/" and not "www.tradealot.dk", "tradealot.dk" nor empty.

BTW. Under "Preferences - Store Contact" I assume you have the name "Tradelot" instead of "TradeAlot" since that's what it says on my browser tab when I go to your "Forside".

you can also mark own topics as [solved], here is an instruction:

[sOLVED] Topic
If, after posting a topic, you find a solution to your problem, please indicate it in your post and describe the solution.
Furthermore if you are the author of the topic for which a solution has been found, please edit your topic title to mark it as [sOLVED].

To mark a topic as [solved] :
- Edit the first post of your topic by clicking on the "Edit" button,
- Click on the "Use full editor" button,
- Add the "[solved]" string at the beginning of your topic title and click on the "Submit Modified Post" button.

it's not necessary but it is good practice :)

Best regards,

Milos
