gogosng09
I just changed my admin folder name for security purpose. After that I tried access www.mydomain.com/newadminfolder but the login page would not load. I heard godaddy would reset apache2 server a few times each day. However I've waiting 11hours but still can't access. Is there anything I could do?
kashifpaul
After update software I also get same problem, I am unable to access Back Office. When I try to open Back office. I get this message For security reasons, you cannot connect to the Back Office until after you have: deleted the /install folder Please then access this page by the new URL (e.g. http://www.first-option.biz/admin123/) Any suggestion,
gogosng09
I managed to get to the login page. But after I entered my email and password, it just loads a blank page. Any idea why? Edited October 10, 2013 by gogosng09 (see edit history)
benjamin utterback
If it loads a blank page, then you should look at the HTTP 500 blog post in my signature. It will show you how to troubleshoot and investigate the issue. It's most likely a server issue but turning on error reporting will help you understand better. Thanks! benjamin utterback
Bluehost has extensive experience with PrestaShop and their shared servers should be configured in a way that causes no problems. That said, I know that BlueHost had some issues during the holiday season with their servers going down. After you clear cache and cookies, double check that you are going to the right admin folder, I would contact BlueHost support as it may be a issue with your server or configuration. Blindoom
Ok guys problem solved. I contacted the bluehost livechat support and they fixed the problem, really a great experience. the install folder to delete was in the public_html folder, instead i was focused in the install folder of the prestashop directory. that's all. i hope it can be usefull for the next users. tnx again to you all!
