remove sub category link

yesterday i removed the sub category links. with the text(not the images). decorative, pictures, etc.

 

I cant seem to remember how to do it.

 

i tried commenting out <a href="{$link->getCategoryLink($subcategory.id_category, $subcategory.link_rewrite)|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" class="cat_name">{$subcategory.name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}</a>

 

but it made the contact us on the right hand side weird.
