salomonsson
Hej! I just upgrated to Version 1.5.6.0 in order to solve the CMS problem. But after upgrating, all products' quantity reset to "-". I was using advanced-stock management, the default choice is "I want to specify available quantities manually". How can I change the default Choice to "Available quantities for current product and its combinations are based on warehouse stock." ? Help! WIth best regards
benjamin utterback
I don't think that upgrading to a new version will take away your advance stock management. Do you still have your stock in the correct place? It's just that one setting for each product?
salomonsson
HI Benjamin Utterback! Thank you for your fast reply. Yes, it seems that all the products still in their places. When I added a new product, under "Quantites", the choice "I want to use the advanced stock management system for this product. " is checked, but the default choice under it is "I want to specify available quantities manually. " In this case, the quantities I put into warehouse didn't show in the product. So I have to change to "Available quantities for current product and its combinations are based on warehouse stock. " for each product. When I now upgrated to 1.5.6.0, the choice of all the products went back to "I want to specify available quantities manually." That's why all the quantities become "-". WIth best regards Salomonsson
benjamin utterback
Interesting! Well, how many products do you have? Maybe it's better just to change them manually. There are alternatives but if you have a small to medium amount of products, this may be your best option.
salomonsson
I might need other alternatives because I have arouond 600 products. Can you teach me how to do it more effectively?

Music Junkee
Hello - we have the same problem. I have around 3000 products of which the quanitity values have set to NULL. It doesn't seem so easy to perform PHP queries in PHPMyAdmin to bulk edit them anymore! Any help is much appreciated.
salomonsson
I didn't get help so I had to change every product manually. I have had around 600 products, it took me almost two days to finish this boring work. You have 3000 products, So you have to calculate for a week's work if there's still no one to help:)
