[SOLVED]Live editor is not working. PS 1.5.4.1

Recommended Posts

Great.

That did the trick.

Thanks Mr. Benjamin.

P.S. I just saw that new 1.5.6 version has came out. I just wonder how hard would it be to upgrade because all those changes done previously in the default theme files especially header.tpl and footer.tpl.

No Problem! That really shouldn't be an option I'm sorry about that.

Regarding the upgrade.

It's a minor update but still, I really can't say how it is going to be.

What I can say is that you should never ever upgrade a live store.

Setting up a test subdomain is the number #1 most important thing to do when even thinking about having an online store. It's quite easy to do as hosting companies offer subdomains for free, already included. Simply duplicate your Database and your PrestaShop file onto your clear and free subdomain. Change your SEO and URL's to point to that Subdomain and test the upgrade from there.

Alternatively you can do this locally, but it's always better to have it done on a "live test duplicate store"

I do have clone of my website at test.dekom.co.rs

As you said and I completely agree, it is better to have this test environment at a subdomain rather then on a localhost because of a different settings and other things.

Sure thing, I will try to upgrade my test site and see what happens.
Thank you Mr Benjamin, and thank you for keeping us updated on current issues and bugs present in certain parts of the PS.

If you have time maybe you should take a look at the old ""sitemap" topic.

Best regards
Dean

The sitemap is a big priority for me (and everyone) and I will be sure to check on it first thing tomorrow. Thanks again!
