rclanan
Is there a default catalog page or something that I can link to for that? I want to create a link that says Shop that will take me to a page that would show all the categories to pick from or something along those lines. Paulito
Goo morning Using PS 1.5.5 default theme If your talking about have a "Shop" in your top navigation bar then, yes you can do that. You can make a link that will point anywhere you want. Paul
rclanan
Yes, using PS 1.5.5 default theme. The where to point the link to is the main question I suppose. Is there a built in page that shows the overall catalog? Much like the suppliers and/or manufacturer links but for categories.
Paulito
I am afraid that this is built by yourself when adding Categories/Sub-categories/products You have to add them to your shop before you can point to them or have I misunderstood the question Paul
rclanan
Understandable, that allows you a point to link to but what I would be looking for is one level higher than that. So for example. I have iPos, Accessories, Laptops as my categories. I want a link that says "Shop" and it links to the domain.com/categories page where I then pick iPods, Accessories, or Laptop to drill into. Hopefully that makes more sense, and thank you for your quick replies!
Paulito
Good morning again, It seems the easiest way to achieve this is to: 1. Make a category called "SHOP" http://screencast.com/t/6KkHvu2w 2. Make your Sub-Categories of "SHOP" http://screencast.com/t/R1vzSYx2T3 3. Result http://screencast.com/t/GWOu6pM63 4. Add products to CAT 1, CAT 2, CAT 3 etc 5. you may want to change the page to a "Grid" view rather than "List" view Hope this helps Paul
