Can I add new block on the home page?

There is a block "featured products" on the home page, I want add another 2 blocks on the home page, such as "new arrival products" "hot sale products" . Is it possible, and how?

 

If it works, how can I add related products to the blocks, for example, I want add a product to "new arrival products" , what should I pay attention when I do that?

Hi,

to better understand Prestashop I suggest you to browse the Guide.

 

Featured products box is intended for new arrivals and price reductions.

When you insert a new product it's automatically "new" for 20 days.

You can change this setting under "preferences"->"product".

To add it to the featured box you have to tick the "home" box in the "product"-."associations" panel.

 

"Hot sale products" are displayed via the Top-Sellers block (under modules).

Although you cannot put it in the "main body" unless you create an $HOOK to it...

 

If you cannot modify this by yourself you can however try to find a theme that suits your needs or hire someone to do it for you.
