remove add to cart button form product thumb page

i want to remove add to cart button form my product thumbnail page, and remove gap b/w thumbs,

for under stand see attached screen shot . plz help.

you have to modify product-list.tpl file

 

 

you have to remove this: <div style="height:21px;"></div>
