Also, I needed to first know if this will be possible to do. The thing is that we will be opening a physical store where all the products will be stored in one same warehouse for both online and offline selling. I wonder if it would be possible to create a module, or software if needed that could, synchronize both online and offline transactions so the stock database would be always automatically updated after any transaction no matter where it came from. I hope I explained well. I guess that we will have a computer with its own retail software and that's what bothers me. How will we ask this software to update the stock info or to syncronize the prestashop warehouse database with the one in this program? The thread is in Spanish but you can contact the author (http://www.prestashop.com/forums/user/444575-nomah82/) who is about to finish the product (he is testing now). It really seems a good option. Their software does all this and a lot more for a one-time payment of £100 for the software and about £500 for them to link it to your website and Epos.
