sabio
Hi, We're about to upgrade to 1.5, and will then merge our three shops in one back-end. When upgraded we'll also activate products from shop A in shop B. What can I do to avoid Google indexing the product description in shop b on the same product as the one in shop a hence avoiding penalizing. This one wont do the trick i guess: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/seo-prestashop-modules/69[spam-filter]redirect-canonical-tag-for-multishop.html Regards Oscar
El Patron
the key to avoiding duplicate content is in the domain usage. two .com's (gTLD) for example would cause duplicate content penalty one .com (gTLD) and multiple ccTLD's (.de/.fr) etc you would not be penalized. sabio
@Limon, Great - thanks for that! However, on some the products the original text is generate from shop x and some other generated from shop y. Can we appoint canonical to different shops? Can I specify the cal myself, for each product?
