Need a help to set up UPS, USPS, and Fedex

I'm having a hard time to set up shipping methods for my online shopping mall.

I'm using Prestashop 1.4.8.2

Here are problems that I have with each carrier.

1. UPS

The automatically calculated rates are not matched with actual rate that get from UPS.

2. Fedex

- Rate is about right(it's little less than actual rate, but that's not that big). But it doesn't have a function that check if the address is residential or not. There's are significant difference between commercial and residential are in rates.

- Having a hard time to add pick up charges which Fedex charges per box.

3. USPS

This is the biggest issue that I have, now.

- After configuration, I still can't find it on a list of carriers nor on website as shipping option.

- It may able to check mere shipping cost but it can't check insurance cost which is sometime as expensive as shipping rate itself.

- Is there any way I can set which size of Flat Rate Box will be automatically selected based on quantity and type of product that a customer put in shopping cart.
