All pages on my website seem to be working correctly except for categories. I have tried all of the normal troubleshooting such as turning friendly url off, forcing the htaccess file to regenerate, etc. No matter what I try the category pages always go to 404 page not found. The manufacturer links as well as individual product links all work fine. Any other ideas on ways to troubleshoot? I have a bad feeling I'm missing something really simple. SOLUTION: For my problem the ps_category table was not updating correctly. In sql I looked at the table and noticed that the nleft and nright columns were 0 for all categories except Home. For experimentation I disabled one category (in Prestashop back office) below Home and re-enabled and that caused the table to update fixing my page not found error. Any gurus want to weigh in on the significance of this go ahead but problem solved for me.
