Configure Product Detail Page

How can I remove "tax excl." from the product detail page?

Also as I delve deeper into the configuration, where can I go to learn more detail about the software?

i think the WIKI pages (on the Nav) is a good place to start. you can simply delete that text from the smarty code in the .tpl files but remember to backup the file for just in case.

Go to Preferences>Products then where it says price dislpay change it to Tax included

Thank you for your suggestion.

However I don't want to display the price including tax.

For US customers they only pay tax if they live in the same state as the seller. So in our case if the buyer lived in Georgia they would pay tax, and residents of other states do not.

Most ecommerce sites just display the selling price of the item and tax is added in the shopping cart if the buyer enters an address that is in the same state as the seller.

You can use translations, front office and type in what ever you want, or like my stores in some cases, I just used the css for it and changed it to the same as the background grey and it dissapeared.. either will work.
