Troy
Hi. This is my first day using Prestashop. I have been a cubecart user for more than 2 years though still a rookie at it. I downloaded a free theme from ezytrader and I was wondering where do I upload the template to?Many thanks
radders
Unsurprisingly you unzip it (or upload it) to your templates directory :-)
Tropical Dream
You'll see that prestashop is really Web 2.0 and it has a great community. If there is a readme file in the theme you downloaded, follow the theme instructions.or else, if it's a standard theme that don't modify core files,in FTP, insert the new theme in /theme. You're going to see another theme/prestashop folder, put it next to the prestashop folder (not in it).then configure Prestashop to read your new theme, in the backoffice, got to Preferences>appearance and select the new theme. Here are some good explanations: http://www.siteground.com/tutorials/prestashop/prestashop_themes.htm

Reaper.Rsa
Hi Guys I know this is an old topicI am having a iusse of similar nature tho. I have installed the themeinstaller Module to my Prestashop. I then went and tried to add the theme I wanted it gave me a bad config error. So I did some reasearch and found this topic. I tried logging into FTP using filezilla I then browse to public_HTML to of coarse go and find the themes folder to upload the unzipped them. Attached is all I see in my public html folder.Where is my PrestaShop Install?
