faazz
Hi, I don't know what happened after perhaps an update to the new version of paypal module, but this is the error I get after I make the payment on Paypal. It doesn't get me to the order confirmation page. It instead gives me this error (I've attached screenshot). How can this be resolved? The website can be viewed on iiph.com
El Patron
what country was the order from? it simply states that the 'state' is empty.
faazz
Thank you El. The order was from India. I've tried this many times and it gives me the same error. It has also happened to a customer from Hong Kong. It doesn't ask for "State" for customers in India I think. And the thing is it was working perfectly fine some days ago. Perhaps it is Paypal update that's causing it? Or perhaps it is b/c I tried updating Prestashop from 1.5.4 to 1.5.5 (although unsuccessfully) that's causing it? What do you think? Where should I look at? I'm at my wits end to resolve this. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
El Patron
back office-->localization-->countries edit India enable 'Contains following states' (check front office registration by selecting country India as see if states selector now shows) (if not states shown in front office...back office-->localization-->localization-->import localization pack for India (select states are all etc.) (then go check front office for state populating when India selected)
faazz
Okay great! Thank you very much. Now, how do I know what all countries I must make a similar change to? I don't want customers to be facing this.

Typically one would test using paypal sandbox with accounts from each country which can be time consuming but worth it.
faazz
Hi, I faced this problem again with a customer from Brazil. Wouldn't it just be better if we enable states for all countries and import localization for all countries? But what problem would I face if some countries don't have states? This is really frustrating.
