Error: Invalid emailadress when confirming an order

Everything was fine and i was doing some tests with orders when suddenly everytime i confirm an order the screen goes white and it says: error: invalid emailadres.

I think it started when i turned on the SMTP email in advanced parameters -> email. But i have turned that off now and the problem still persists.

 

I also emptied the smarty cache and did a force compile.

 

The order is registered in the BO but the costumer never gets an email confirmation and the BO gives a weird message when i click on the order *see image attached*. The weird thing is that i only use bank transfer and it says something about Paypall in the error on the image.

 

If more information is needed, please let me know.
