Prestashop Facebook Shop Can't Install

Hi there,

 

I know is a long shot to ask about  a paid module here. but while waiting for the author's answer I  thought maybe someone here can help me.

 

 Prestashop Facebook Shop Module -  

 

Trying to install my fan-page on the shop application site fail because there is no drop down menu working as it should to pick a fan-page. 

 

Someone out there hat a similar problem?

 

Someone know how to get around that?

im here available to help  (im author of this addon and i received no message about that :| ) you sent it from contact form?

 

please do this:

 

1) open your private profile settings page 

 

2) open "apps" tab:

 

 

3) then you will see applications list, click on "remove" button near facebook shop app. just remove it.

4) then open page: http://apps.facebook.com/prestashopstore/

5) accept all permissions, it is necessary for installation procedure

6) now your fanpage should appear well

 

 

you must be logged to your private profile and of course you have to be fanpage owner (admin)

thank you for your help, and no, I didn't used the contact form on your website, that was my fault. Now I still need your help, I already installed the app linking to http://plazzastore.com and I installed the module on my website, same URL, and I configured the module, but I can not see the shop showing up on my facebook fan page https://www.facebook.com/plazzastore?ref=hl

 

What i did wrong?

hello, on your fanpage is a special tab: "Facebook Shop" (btw. you can change it: http://mypresta.eu/en/art/tips-and-tricks/how-to-change-facebook-tab-name-and-image.html )

 

+ then you will see shop:

 

open please "server settings" tab (in module configuraiton page in your back office) and disable mod rewrite option.

 

 

you used non-ssl connection so in browsers like firefox v23+ customers will have to accept unsecured content (http://i.imgur.com/y40AGF4.png)

ma l'app non funziona.

 

Il modulo è correttamente installato e i file sono tutti configurati con permessi 755.

Io credo che il problema sia l'APP di facebook.

on app configuration page you defined an url to shop like:

http://www.mioclick.net/stores/ - this url does not exist.

you have to use proper valid url to shop that exists

I have had to change the subfolder of my prestashop, I wanted to rebuild the application.
How come I can not create and autonomously install the module?

1) please log in to your private FB account that you used previously to install the app on fanpage (user account that has admin roles to page)

2) go to page: https://apps.facebook.com/prestashopstore/

3) if you will see notificaiton that you need to "grant permissions" to manage app etc. just do it

4) after page refresh you will see list of available faceboo fanpages

5) click edit near the fanpage that you want to change: http://i.imgur.com/BtzaFoZ.png

6) you will see popup where you can manage url to the store: http://i.imgur.com/Zgo9xU4.png

7) type there proper url to shop

8) save changes

The first time I installed the APP, I had all your steps. Now I do not have
as the list: "Your sites with app: faceshop - PrestaShop on fanpage".
 

This is a problem of facebook app?
What causes this?
