Brighteyes
Does anyone know how to add a flat combination cost regardless of quantity? I have a product which is a book on which you can have your name printed. So the Book is £5 and I have a combination of "no printing" which is £0 and "personal printing" which is £30. The problem is if you order 10 books the total cost is £335 when it should just be £35. Hope this is clear and that someone can help!
Brighteyes
If anyone knows this isn't possible could you also let me know so I can stop trying to figure it out! Cheers
tomerg3
There is no built in way to do it. The combination price is per 1 qty, and will increase as you add more qty. You can create an "Accessory" product called "personal Printing" and let the customer add it to the cart from the same page. Then, if they add more shirts, the price will be as you wish.
Brighteyes
Balls, well that put an end to that site then! Can't believe that's not possible. I also need a similar function for a clothes website where you need to add an option for tailoring which would be per order not per quantity. Thanks for letting me know though! appreciate the accessory suggestion but there's to much room for user confusion/error with that.
tomerg3
You're welcome. I'm sure there are other workarounds, but they would require custom coding.
