Menu is behind TM Nivo Slider

Recommended Posts

Thank you SO much for responding, it is greatly appreciated!!  I have no idea what a "z-index" even is, you'll have to forgive me, I'm a newbie.  I input my URL in my profile and thought others could see it, evidently they can't.  Here it is:

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  For the most part, I work to educate and figure things out myself.  This one, however, has me stumped.  I just purchased a new touch screen computer, and my first Windows 8 product, and that is why I've noticed it.  My [spam-filter]s Windows 7 (and my old Vista) works perfectly fine; the menu stays "in front" of the Nivo slider on my homepage.

At first I thought I had inadvertantly done something.  But, that can't be the case since it works fine on other OS's...I've only noticed it in my Windows 8.

Again, thanks for your help, as I'm sure to lose some frustrated Windows 8 customers because of this issue.
