berhan88
Hi, I built my web site everything is okey. Then the owner of the website wanted me to add turkish language to website. So I done the following steps, 1-Localization-> Translations-> Add or Update Language 2- I find the turkish language ther and select it, clicked save. After I done this a success message appeared. But I all my website info has gone.I mean literally gone.. My Shop name, products, categories, currencies gone. When I tried to look my websites front office it it shows "In order to perform website maintenance, our online store will be temporarily offline." message there. I opened the preferences->maintenance and sow maintenance mod is on.So I clicked to make it off. But nothing chanced, save button just refreshed the page and nothing done.. I have uploaded my backup again and tried to do same thing but same thing happen again. I decided to install a new prestashop by default but only choosing the country "turkey" installation stoped at %56 and showed an error saying "An error occured during installation". it was in module installation part. I guys help me what to do how can I solve this issue?..(I'm using 1.5.5.0) Edited September 23, 2013 by berhan88 (see edit history)
vekia
while you're trying to import language (under localization tab in back office)- you tried to import whole pack? or just only language?
berhan88
Nope I didn't import package, do you think that causes the problem? but it never occured in my local?
berhan88
I uploaded 1.5.4.1 version and it looks like problem is solved. I think for now 1.5.5.0 is too fragile to count on. I don't know this problem is common but I think there is a bug needs to be fixed.
