CWaite
Hi I know this is a commonly reported problem, and a number of solutions have been posted.I believe have tried all of them with no joy, and was looking for some pointers, in case I have missed something obvious. The problem is that the Visitors Online stats page is always showing no visitors. The SQL table, which i believe holds the relevant data, ps_page_viewed, is empty. Having gone through the existing related posts, I have confirmed the following: 1. The Data Mining stats module is installed and 'Save page views for each customer' is enabled. 2: The Data Mining for statistics module is hooked into the footer. Just to be sure, if I try to follow the "transplant" instructions, to transplant it into the footer, I get the error "This module is already transplanted to this hook." 3. The footer.tpl for the theme I am using (based on one of the free presta-shop themes) has the footer hook:<!-- Footer --> <div id="footer_wrapper"> <div id="footer"> {$HOOK_FOOTER} {if $page_name == 'index'}<!-- [[%FOOTER_LINK]] -->{/if} </div> </div></div> 4. The rendered source code for all pages has the following script embedded in the HTML, which I believe to the the script for recording these stats?<script type="text/javascript"> var time_start; $(window).load( function() { time_start = new Date(); } ); $(window).unload( function() { var time_end = new Date(); var pagetime = new Object; pagetime.type = "pagetime"; pagetime.id_connections = "14426"; pagetime.id_page = "64"; pagetime.time_start = "2013-09-22 18:06:12"; pagetime.token = "efcf60c1e772f923a6c602a129c854c71c42430e"; pagetime.time = time_end-time_start; $.post("http://iceventureuk.com/statistics.php", pagetime); } ); </script> We are still using PrestaShop 1.4.9.0 - but I would expect it to work for this version. Can anyone give me a pointer as to what I should be trying next to locate the source of this problem? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Cathy
prestaquest
hey Cathy, What you need to do: 1) Go to your Prestashop preferences > Contact Information set your current Country there 2) Go to preferences (main tab), scroll down to the bottom, and set your current Time Zone. Then it should all work fine, if you have the Stats module activated p.s. this is for Prestashop 1.4.8.2 cheers!
