[SOLVED] How do I add a digital product (free) to a customer account?

I need to be able to add a digital download product to a customer account.  Can anyone please tell me how to do that?  I have tried searching in customer, customer service, etc. and can not find a way to do this.  I am probably missing something!

Hi Vekia,

I want to add a digital file to the account of one customer.  Purchase was made offline because she had problems with PayPal, so I invoiced her thru PayPal emailed her the file but I would like it to be available in her account should she need to download it again.  I am on version 1.5.3.1.  Thanks for the help!

you can create order for your customer, open orders > order page

 

then define order for customer. If product is "virtual" and file is attached - then your customer will see it in own account in "orders" section
