Quantity available does not change in Paypay Canada,US

Hi,

I'm using PrestaShop v1.5.5 and have installed the PayPal Canada, US version 1.2.6 (the latest) and everything appears to work except the quantity available does not change after buying with PayPal and the logged in customers cart does not show any items purchased. The item remains in the Cart and PayPal does send an email to me advising a purchase has been made. PayPal also sends an email to the buyer.

 

Is this the normal operation of the free PayPal module?

it is not normal behavior.

 

after successful paying in paypal, the visitor should be returned to their account orders, the product stock quantity is decremented by the number (assuming you have  stock management enabled).  You should be informed by paypal (outside of prestashop's control) and if you have mail alerts active also receive order notification.

Thank you for your prompt reply, I have Stock Management enabled but not Advanced Stock Management...would that make a difference?

 

From what I understand you are saying, everything from PayPal's side is working but PrestaShop is not changing the quantity, that is, the user is being returned to their cart with the message 'No Products have been ordered' and their cart is still populated with the item. PayPal sends email alerts to both me (the administrator of the site) and the customer. My PayPal account shows the sales, etc.

 

One thing that comes to mind is in the API for PayPal I have my company name, not the name of the website. Think that could be the problem?
