product descriptions missing

Hi guys,

I've done a fresh install of 1.5.5.0 and all seemed to be working well.  I entered a new product(worked fine) I duplicated the product and changed the description(product duplicated fine but description shows as the original in FO).

 

I then added a new product from scratch(looks fine in back office) no description in front office.

 

I have cleared all my smarty/compile cache and cleared browser cache(still no joy) re-uploaded tinymce (no joy) kind of stuck now??  any help in this matter would be most appreciated.

Update to post:

 

I did use pscleaner but just using the functionality integrity constraints (check and fix) ONLY.  this seems for the moment to have resolved the issues.
