batman42ca
I have version 1.4.8 of the Merchant Expertise module installed but it is not working. Naturally my first thought is to upgrade it to see if that fixes the problem but there is no upgrade button when I view the module in the module list. How can I force an update or manually download the latest modue and upgrade it that way? I'm using version 1.5.5.0 of Prestashop Edited September 27, 2013 by batman42ca (see edit history)
vekia
you've got up-to-date version, latest one is 1.4.
batman42ca
That's odd because I also have a version that claims to be 1.5.2 Merchant Expertise version 1.5.2 image Still, if I wanted to manually download that add-on, where would I do that? I searched the add ons here: http://addons.prestashop.com/en But is doesn't show up in my search. The 1.4.8 version I have, is not working. All of the badges are grey - I tried a reset, the badges all disppeared until I disabled and re-enabled the plug in. Now the badges are back but all grey again. The 1.5.2 version I have, is working. I'd like to replace the 1.4.8 version with the 1.5.2 version. How can I do that? I didn't see Merchant Expertise in the modules directory on my server. batman42ca
Thanks but how can I tell from the link that it's actually 1.5.2? At best, there is a suggestion that it's 1.4.9. Also, I poked around and apart from opening every file and saving it individually, I didn't see any way to download the files. Is there no where that I can just download the latest .zip file that I need to install an update? Also, is there any way I can get Prestashop to perform the update? There is no update button for me at the moment. image of Merchant Expertise 1.4.8 minus update button As you can see I have 1.4.8 with no update button. How can I make Prestashop aware this plugin is out of date? Shouldn't it already know?
batman42ca
Still hoping I can get answers to my questions. Can anyone help?
batman42ca
I have version 1.5.5.0 of Prestashop but for some reason I have an old version, 1.4.8 of the Merchant Expertise module. How do I update this if Prestashop is not detecting that it's out of date? I'm still hoping I can get some help with this.

You can download whole prestashop directory https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop-modules/archive/master.zip - then just grab /gamification/ directory from master.zip file (just unpack it) then you will have latest 1.5.3 version ps. sorry for late reply
batman42ca
You can download whole prestashop directory https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop-modules/archive/master.zip I was hoping there was a simple way to install a single module but I guess what you suggested will work. vekia
glad to hear it, to be honest, if I see information about available updates in my back office - I usually donwload this package from github, and then installing modules manually with regards, Milos
