Customer Loyalty and Rewards: Voucher Creation from Points

How does the Customer Loyalty and Rewards module convert from points to a voucher?  What settings need to be set up to accomplish this automatically?

 

As you can see from the screen shots below, I have it configured to the point where the points are awarded, but the voucher isn't being created.  There has to be something simple I'm missing here.

 

I'm using PS 1.5.5.0 and Customer Loyalty and Rewards 1.8.  Note: I've tried on 1.5.4.1 and get the same behavior.  I've stripped all other modules installed except the defaults and get the same behavior.

I did, but unfortunately I forgot to take notes on my work around.  I'll update this post when I get back to working on loyalty points stuff.  I'd recommend starting a fresh install of PS using the default theme with no modules besides the defaults.  Add in the loyalty module, and see if it works.  Obviously, if it does, then you did "something" along the way to break it.  If it doesn't, then start checking settings in the BO that could impact.

I found some notes on this.  Hopefully this helps you solve the problem...

• Try unchecking “If the voucher is not yet in the cart, it will be displayed in the cart summary.”, then re-checking

• Log-out, log back in

• Make sure it’s Highlighted in back office

• Make sure it hasn’t expired

• Delete /cache/smarty/compile

• Make sure shipping is checked under Actions

The customer can change the loyalty points they have to a voucher when they login in front end.
