tuk66
I have installed PrestaShop 1.5.5.0 and I want to integrate Skrill (Moneybookers) as payment gateway I suggest to think twice (or better thrice) before using Skrill payment gateway. They introduced 10 € monthly payment recently and hold your funds 45 days after the payment.
Dolke
I'm using Skrill for my personal transactions. Here in Serbia we were introduced to PayPal just recently so Moneybookers (now Skrill) was only alternative which actually worked.I was never using PayPal nor Skrill as a payment gateway but I also believe, what tuk66 said, fees are just gone drastically upwards. But in the other hand I thing Skrill has a fairly simple procedure to setup your gateway. cindy.yu
Thank you, Tuk66. I did give a second thoughts. Now, I switch from Skrill to PayPal. They are two payment gateway I find in Prestashop to accept international payment (over 190 countries). More important, they can be registered in Asia. tuk66
Skrill's monthly 10 € fee is charged even after cancellation within the 4 month period of holding your funds. So it is a 40 € fee (someone would say theft) without possibility of defense. Beware!
uGoGo
Wow thanks for that tip about Moneybookers (Skrill) fees, I had no idea and did not think to see if fees had actually CHANGED. Quickly withdrew from that one. Paypal doesn't accept some countries, so I'm looking for a reliable alternative. Any suggestions would be welcome.
