Blank module page not related to memory.

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

My module page just went blank on me. The payment page is fine and increasing memory in my php.ini and config.inc.ini files did not help.

When I click the modules button it almost loads the module page. I see the box that says "there is an update for..." and then a couple modules along with the category list on the left but then it goes blank

As of yesterday there were no module updates available so will updating the two modules make my page come back? the modules that need updating are paypal USA and 1 click checkout (the page goes blank fast but I'm pretty sure it is those two).

I DO NOT want to update these modules unless someone is fairly sure it will get my back office working correctly again because the front end still works as far as I know and I would hate to have to reconfigure, reinstall, and redo paypal many times over trying to get this to work.

Is this a known issue?

Hello, have you turned on error reporting in your back office? You can follow these instructions here for your version.  http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information-500-error-or-blank-page/

I was just about to turn on error reporting when I decided to double check the modules page and it is visible again.

Any idea why that would happen? Obviously it would just be conjecture at this point but since I can't recreate the error anymore I'm hoping to still avoid this in the future. Also, I did not update the modules
