Tiggy
This morning I logged into our Prestashop back office as normal only to discover that everything from the last 9 months seems to have vanished. This appears to have affected both our back and front office. All our orders have dissapeared, along with customer accounts in the back office and our website (front store end) has reverted back to the way it appeared in January (ie, home page messages, catagories, stock catalogue etc). Does anyone know please what may have happened and if there is a way to fix it? I am using version 1.4.4.1 Edited September 19, 2013 by Tiggy (see edit history)
vekia
sounds strange, are you able to check your database? + have you got any possibility to get backup of your data, for example, from yesterday?
parsifal
Oh dear. I hope I'm wrong in this, but my guess would be that your web host made a boo boo: they lost data (some storage unit failure perhaps) and the last time they took a backup was...well...last January apparently. You should contact them to verify.
