[SOLVED] how to download site from online to my localhost

I am using Preastashop first time.

Recently download site to my localhost  only home page is working all links not working shows these error

 

 

Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.

Error 404 localhost

No.  How to regenrate .htaccess file ?

 

ok I got it   In back office >>>Tools >>Genrator >>>>generate .htaccess file .

From the back office, preferences-> seo and Urls, just save the page using one of the save buttons

in addition to what Nemo said - sometimes it doesn't work well, so the best thing to regenerate is... just remove the .htaccess file

and refresh your website (before this - make sure that you've got backup of this file)

i've noticed that issue is solved and also this method works for other merchants, so im going to mark this topic as [solved]
