About Offline Designing and Developing Shop

Hi Everyone:

 

i am pretty new to the Presta Shop and its forums.i have downloaded Presta Shop version 1.5.4.1 farsi version and have intalled it on my host server as a test of its functionality.Now,i think that it would be better idea if i could work on my shop design,and develop it offline and on my local hard disk .because,i have forgotten the name of the softwares needed for such task to be doable,i had to raise the bottleneck in this Forum and by this discussion.so,if you know of the softwares and the places where i could find and download them,or even purchase them,please let me know as soon as you can!

Thanks for your early response.i have to tell you that my host operating system on which the Presta shop is installed is Linux, and my home desktop OS is WinXP SP3.

your response helped alot, but there is another problem and that is incompatibilty of my Host server resources with the pre-requisites to install XAMPP 1.8.2 which seems to be the older version than the 1.8.3 .my Host Php version is 5.2.17,Apache is 2.2.23,MySql is 5.1.70-cll and PHPmyAdmin is 4.0.4.2 .so,do you think if there would be a problem after installing this package on my local disk and then Upload it on the Host which,as i said, its resources are not compatible with the package contents.?

 if it is so,i think that i have to get the older version of the XAMPP at SourceForge ,so please let me know which version is compatible with the host's!
