How to disable categories photo?

Hi. I do not want displayed the photo category, how turn them off? Prestashop 1.4.9. Thanks

if you're talking about category page, you need to edit category.tpl file located in your theme directory.

in default theme code looks like:

			<div class="align_center">

just remove / comment (with {*  *}) it
