bfleck
We have a dedicated IP and SSL Cert. When I try to enable SSL I get a ERROR 404 cannot find page error? http://shop.pennstatehoopsclub.com https://shop.pennstatehoopsclub.com In the help section it states: "browsers now display visual cues showing that the connection is secured. If your hosting provider does support SSL, make sure to activate PrestaShop's SSL support, by clicking on the link. This will reveal a selector, where you should choose "Yes"." "Yes" does not appear but it goes to the website to the main page and you get the 404 error. This is the error: Error 404 - Not FoundOoops, We cannot find you the page you are looking for. You may try to search our site for another keyword or use the navigational tools in this website. bfleck
Enable SSL Please click here to use HTTPS protocol before enabling SSL. Click on it and it goes to our main webpage and gives you the 404 error above.
bfleck
We purchased a SSL certificate and a dedicated IP. This is a reply from the hosting company regarding the SSL not working: As for your redirection issue where HTTPS goes back to HTTP you need to ensure you have HTTPS enabled in the backend of PrestaShop. Additionally you may want to see if the PS_SSL_ENABLED is set to 1. PrestaShop will not enable HTTPS. That is the problem: yes does not appear..it goes to my webpage instead. It does not work and I am lost for a solution. I have no idea what or where the "PS_SSSL_enabled is set to 1" means??

bfleck
Benjamin The problem has escalated to the point where I had to get a refund on the SSL & dedicated IP and the site is currently migrating to a shared IP for 24 hours. So not only is our store out of commission our website is down as well. www.pennstatehoopsclub.com The problems with SSL changed my login and I cannot login as the super admin. I cannot update PrestaShop or do anything. I was able to get into the site to put it in maintenance using an employee with administrator privileges. How do I get back into our site as the Super Admin.? I will then be able to update to 1.5.5 I would like to then get another SSL and dedicated IP and start over to protect the customer registration process. What do I put in the three boxes under SEO & URL before I start this process over? Shop Domain: shop.pennstatehoopsclub.com SSL Domain: Base URL Thank you
benjamin utterback
SSL changed your login? Can you look at your Database, and click on the ps_employee table. Can you take a screenshot of that and attach it?
