add/modify price display

Hi Everybody,

Just arriving here and happy to see that I'm not alone ;-)

Quiet new with prestashop customization..then thanks to all to be comprehensive..and patient too ;-)

 

My activites:

 

I rent services;

customer have to pay on a monthly fee basis;

there's a setup fee at the begining of the contract.

 

What I try to do:

 

Displaying for every product in my catalog the price for the setup and the montly price.

Ok some products don't really need to display a setup. if your ideas drive me trough a solution that let me also customize accordingly..

Which fee the customer will pay online? Setup or monthly?

Thanks for your interest in my question.

 

Wich fee will be paid online not yet define (good question):

At this time prestashop act more as a "catalog" then a real online shop that why my question was about displaying the price ;

do you have a solution if both are payed online?

Or a solution for one of the both?

I wont say i have a solution; but have a workaround... Set one time set up fee as product price in prestashop backoffice in Retail Price field. And keep your short description limited to "Monthly Fee: $150". Thus both the prices will be displayed in all the views (product listing as well as product details view).

it is not really matching my case but thanks to try to help me :-)

I can also create a specific Setupfee price and add it to all my product (15) ..

but it will better to have a specific setup fee per product, in a separate field aht let me use price rules to avoid, by example, to have setup fee twice if not necessary ..
