Installing a theme

Ok so I have found a theme i'm happy with. 

 

Downloaded and paid for. Installed to desktop and saved onto server.

 

Tried to upload and save into theme and I get - Bad configuration file??

 

I have followed step by step guides etc.

 

 

 

Help please!!!!!!!

what theme you purchased? it is compatibile with your ps version? what ps version you use? can you share url to your website please?

ok so complete and total noob here when it comes to all this, kind of need a step by step. maybe some sort of link or just typed out by one of you lovely people. I just downloaded the theme that i like. now what

your theme should have instruction about installation procedure, all theme that i know have got installation instruction file, can you check theme zip library for it please?

ok i got it to install thank you for the info! but now i have a new problem i had the default theme on the front of the site and put up the leo shoes theme but now instead of the leo shoes theme having all the info it came with it put the default items like the ipod stuff into it and its totally crapped up my website i dont know how to fix it though. any suggestions?

it isn't issue, this is how prestashop works.

You changed only theme, now you have to define categories, manufacturers, products etc.

 

theme displays what you've got in database - you've got in database ipods
