Upgrade from 1.5.4.1 to 1.5.5.0 error

Hi

 

I am using the 1-click upgrade v1.6 to update prestashop an am getting an error.

 

error for copying /cache/smarty/compile/index.php

 

error when trying to upgrade /cache/smarty/compile/index.php

 

I have tried several times, and set all permissions to 777 on another attempt as well.

 

Does anyone know why this is happening?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you still getting this error when you try to upgrade via ftp?

Thanks for the reply, I don't upgrade via ftp, it is on our own server with full root ssh access.

 

I did use the 1 click upgrade option to upgrade to the current version.

That is very strange. This issue is not common at all. Have you cleared your smarty cache prior to upgrading?
