Stuck on Install Step 3

Hello everyone!

I'm having trouble getting at step 4 in the installation of Prestashop 1.2.2

It's a local install on XAMPP, Step 2 said everything was OK.
I create the prestashop table in PHPMyAdmin, press "Verify Now!", it says everything is fine.

Then I push the "Next" button, a progress bar appears for a few seconds on the top of the page.
It then disappears but doesn't bring me to Step 4.
If I press again, the progress bar appears for less than a second and disappears again.

I checked in PHPMyAdmin, there are 134 tables created so I guess everything went fine.
No errors in Firebug.

Any ideas?

Ok, I've tried several times... nothing, it created the tables but didn't bring me to step 4.
I noticed that the shop worked fine but it was still bugging me.

So I used "Uniform Webserver" and it worked perfectly.

Incompatibility with XAMPP? I used the latest version, freshly downloaded... so I don't know.

Xampp 1.7.0 works with the latest PS, Xampp 1.7.2 did not work for me.
