racemaniac
Hi. I just installed a clean version of PS 1.5.5.0 With an excisting ( good) csv-file I've imported products. Weird is that the field of the image url-location is not filled with the approprate info. System says that image can't be copied Imgae file does excist on server. To test I installed another PS 1.5.4.1 and used the same csv-file. All is going OK. image is shown After updating PS to version 1.5.5.0 image is still shown Than when I use the same csv file again to import products ( yes a second product with the same data is created) I get the error message that the image file can't be copied Perhaps there is a "bug" in the import-module ?? Tnx for any solutions Edited October 8, 2013 by racemaniac (see edit history)

go2pub
Image import with csv doesn't appear to work with 1.5.5, I've been trying to find a fix for this for days with no luck. I'd love to hear from someone who actually has imported products and images with csv in 1.5.5 just to see what they have done to get it working. There's loads of threads already posted but no one seems to know the answer to the problem and no one from prestashop has even acknowledged that there is a serious bug in 1.5.5 which renders it pretty useless for anyone importing a large catalogue.
